Ariana Madix pretended to leave Tom Sandoval’s house to earn money

Ariana Madix hasn’t moved out of her shared home with ex Tom Sandoval – despite leading fans to believe she did.

On Monday, the “Vanderpump Rules” alum was pictured moving boxes from their $2 million home to a U-Haul, presumably marking the end of her uncomfortable lifestyle.

She also documented the “move” on her Instagram story, posting a video alongside a pile of packed boxes captioned “Ready to move out.”

However, SoFi – a personal financial planning service – confirmed to People on Tuesday that it was all just a “stunt”.

Reps for Madix, 37, also revealed she still lives with Sandoval, who she broke up with in March after finding out he had slept with her best friend and co-star Raquel Leviss.

Madix later confirmed the elaborate scheme on her Instagram Story, saying she was “moving on, not out.”

In a later post on her grid, Madix praised the “all-in-one” financial app for helping her make money moves “during tough times.”

Although they cheated on its 1.8 million subscribers and the entire Bravo universe, many fans were thrilled to see Madix land such a big brand partnership.

“A little devastated, she’s not really moving,” one user commented. “It was the decision we were all looking for! But happy for her and everyone coming!! 👏🏼💰👏🏼💰👏🏼.”

“Love that you literally staged a movement for this ad 💀,” added another.

“Whoever did the marketing for this deserves a raise,” added a third.

“Yasss, get those money bags in order! 💰,” someone else said.

Although she still lives with her ex, Madix recently revealed that she plans to sell the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home.

“I was on the phone with a real estate agent,” she said in “Today with Hoda & Jenna.” “And I would like to sell this house and move somewhere, own my own house and start my new life.”

Although the exes “don’t interact on any level” when they’re both at home, Madix told Andy Cohen she wants to move out “as quickly as possible.”

The exes bought the modern farmhouse – which they previously called their “forever home” – in 2019.

However, Madix has had the house mostly to herself as Sandoval continues to travel across the country on her cover band’s tour – which has been less than successful amid the backlash from her bombshell case.
