First K-Pop royal idol?  11-year-old princess set to join industry soon

She is already a star in her home country.

According to a recent broadcast by YTNK-Pop could soon see its debut into idol royalty.

Jenna Norodom is the second daughter of Princess Norodom Bupphary and the granddaughter of the current King of Cambodia, Norodom Sihamoni. At only 11 years old, she is already a sensation on social networks, with more than 800,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

Jenna started her career in the entertainment industry at the age of 6 as an actress, singer and performer. She apparently has had a knack for the performing arts since she was a child, and under the guidance of Space Creative Marketing, she quickly gained attention as a rare royal active in the creative world. She already holds young pop star status in Cambodia, has appeared in dramas and has several brand endorsements to her name.

Jenna has a particular interest in Hallyubeing an avid fan of bands like BTS And NOIRPINK, as well as a K-Drama fan. She often posts dance covers of K-Pop songs on her YouTube channel and also performs at events. Jenna has also released several original songs, including a duet with Khmer idol BOBOtitled “You Da One”.

Outside of the performing arts, Jenna also has impressive language skills. This 11-year-old polyglot speaks Khmer, French, Thai, Chinese and English!

In the YTN feature, the princess praised K-Pop, explaining how her bright energy drew her to music. She expressed her interest in promoting herself as an artist in Korea, and it looks like her dream is about to come true. Na Yoon Jung, CEO of a K-Pop entertainment agency, expressed interest in collaborating with the princess for her career in South Korea.

Jenna currently lives in Cambodia, where she moved with her parents from her birthplace, Paris, France, when she was 3 years old. She is said to have a lavish lifestyle of royalty and has access to the best education in the country. But her love for her art at such a young age drove Jenna to work tirelessly for her dreams. It will be interesting to see how her K-Pop journey takes shape in the future!
