The mansion that Gene Simmons called home for over three decades has resurfaced on the market, and even he might not even recognize it.
The Kiss bassist’s former Beverly Hills abode is up for grabs, and it looks to be totally different from how he left in 2021. Now listed for $48 million, which, for the record, is triple that that he sold the digs to return in 2021 – has been redesigned by Los Angeles-based design firm Nobel. Today, the Benedict Canyon Estate sports a much darker exterior and a state-of-the-art interior with tons of Italian marble, custom stone oak wood paneling, and gleaming brass accents. Honestly, it gives rockstar vibes.

The 16,390 square foot spread sits on two acres with seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. One of the best features has always been the parking situation, and luckily that remains unchanged. You will find a three-car garage attached to the main house and another structure below that can accommodate an additional 20 vehicles. Elsewhere, the grounds feature a 60-foot sharp-edged pool, as well as an outdoor barbecue area for up to 20 people and three chic chandeliers hanging above.
Inside, the abode is filled with natural light thanks to huge custom-made iron windows. The gourmet chef’s kitchen has been accented with Poliform cabinetry, high-end Gaggenau appliances and a breakfast area. Naturally, an eye-catching all-marble island takes center stage. The property also includes a media room and a master suite with its own private balcony, living room and wardrobes. Not to mention, it comes with furniture from Minotti and Henge and Baxter.
Before Simmons finally unloaded his house, he put about $11 million worth of upgrades into the pad. However, he eventually ended up selling to live full-time in his mountain mansion in Nevada. However, he recently decided to part ways with this property as well.
Douglas Elliman’s listing agents Josh Altman and Matt Altman were unavailable for comment.
