Lauren Sánchez was very strategic in keeping her engagement to Jeff Bezos a secret.
The former news anchor, 53, brilliantly hid her engagement ring from dads during her trip to Europe with the Amazon CEO, 59, last week.
The couple arrived in Mallorca, Spain on May 15, and it’s believed that in the days that followed, Bezos popped the question, according to TMZ.
On May 17, the couple were apparently already engaged.
In photos from that day, Sánchez’s diamond faced inside her hand and was not visible to paparazzi taking pictures of her while she was aboard the $500 million superyacht. of her fiancé.
However, on May 21, Sánchez was much more carefree to show off her bling as news of the engagement reportedly leaked out to her close circle of friends.
That day, Bezos and the mother-of-three were pictured arriving in Cannes, France, and her engagement ring was clearly visible as her hand rested on the yacht’s railing.

Sánchez and Bezos – who have been together for five years – have yet to release statements about their engagement.
Page Six exclusively revealed in January 2019 that the former media personality and billionaire mogul were dating. The news came just days after he announced his divorce from ex-wife MacKenzie Scott.
Sánchez at the time was estranged from Hollywood talent mogul Patrick Whitesell, with whom she shares two children. She also has a son with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez.
A legal expert told Page Six exclusively on Tuesday that once married, Sánchez would earn at least $1 million “every year” while they remain together. She could also get a “multi-million dollar residency.”
Sánchez and Bezos haven’t revealed whether they plan to sign a prenuptial agreement.
