Rachel Bilson opens up about losing her job after talking about sex on a podcast.
“This is the first time in my professional life that I’ve lost a job this week because of things that have been said,” Bilson said of her. Broad ideas podcast. “A job was taken away from me for speaking frankly and openly about sex with humor on our friend’s podcast.”
No More Deadline
Bilson made an appearance on the podcast Women at the top on May 3, where she spoke to co-hosts Tammin Sursof and Roxy Manning about her preferences during intimacy with her partner. THE Heart of Dixie And CO alum said the media took his words out of context and “spread like these clickbait headlines.”
“They said they weren’t comfortable with that title (manipulation), and if people keep googling they’ll see the other stuff I commented on, which is orgasms. And I feel like it’s discrimination,” Bilson added.
Bilson maintained that she said nothing “nothing inappropriate” adding: “And, like the choice of language, if I could go back now knowing that I lost a job, I would. I might say differently, but I still wouldn’t say it. .”
“I just don’t want such a stigma or things being so taboo when everyone talks about it with your girlfriends,” she continued.
Bilson did not name the company she was fired from.
