Although they are very active parents by royal standards, Kate Middleton and Prince William still have a nanny who has been with the family for almost a decade. Kate and William originally hired nanny Maria Borrallo, a Norland College alumnus, in 2014 when Prince George was just eight months old.
Norland College is famous for its high-level nanny training, per Telegraph, and Norland College expert Louis Heren gave The Sun insight into Borrallo’s rules for caring for all three children!
Some of these “no frills” rules include a strict bedtime of 7 p.m., children must play outside every day, and learn new things through games rather than something on screen. When it comes to food, Barolo reportedly has a unique approach: Children have new foods introduced every few days to discourage picky eating habits, according to Heren’s expertise.
When it comes to getting ready for public appearances, Borrallo reportedly says something to the three kids like, “‘This is your opportunity to show mom and dad how wonderful you are, and you need to smile and be really good for them, and then we can come in and play.
William and Kate have three children named Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, and they have all been photographed with their beloved nanny over the years. In fact, Borrallo has accompanied the family to many events over the years, and although the kids are growing up fast, we’re sure they love their nanny even more after all these years!
And don’t worry, Borrallo loves kids too. An insider previously told People, “Maria is very fond of children. She can be firm and strict, but she is also very loving and gentle with them.
